Bolivar Primary School houses approximately 600 students. Currently there are nine sections of Kindergarten, nine sections of First Grade, and nine sections of Second Grade. The Sunshine Preschool is also located in this building. This program consists of three morning and three afternoon classes. Project Construct is the curriculum used in the preschool.
Spring of 2006 the Real Math program was adopted and is currently used in the classroom. Teachers and students work extensively with "hands-on" lessons focused on providing students the reasoning and problem-solving base that will be vital in their years ahead.
