Safety and security is our number one priority at Bolivar Schools. One of our big summer projects is upgrading our school security. During the June school board meeting, funding was approved to upgrade our video surveillance system and the door access system. We are also replacing some of our older exterior doors with stronger doors, hinges, and door frames. We have two full-time school resource officers. One is employed through the Bolivar Police Department, and one is employed by Bolivar Schools. We are also seeking more opportunities to partner with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and the Bolivar Police Department. We appreciate their support in keeping our school buildings safe. If you have any questions about the safety and security of our school buildings, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
REMINDER: Today is the last day of Summer School! #GoLiberators

The other side of the billboard recognizes some of our Lifelong Liberators, staff members who graduated from Bolivar Schools and have since returned to serve the next generation of learners!

Liberators, Our transportation and administration leaders are working together to evaluate road conditions. It is very likely that we will consider an early release. However, now that all students are in, they are safe and warm in our school buildings. We will make a decision on an early release as we evaluate our road conditions. Bolivar Administration
