Our 8th grade and BHS Jazz band were grooving during their concert last night! Bravo, Liberators! #GoLiberators
Don't forget about our BHS football home opener this SATURDAY night at 7:00pm at Plaster Stadium! We are also going to Tackle Hunger that night by collecting non-perishable food items to donate to COM in honor of Cash Cable. Cash tragically lost his life in a drowning accident during his freshman year. He was an outstanding high school football player, man-child if you will, but a gentle giant. He was a very kind young man that left an impression on many! Cash would be in his junior year this season and is greatly missed! Help us honor him and his family by considering donating a few non-perishable food items at the game. #GoLiberators #LiberatorStrong
We are less than a month away from the First Day of School! #GoLiberators

Safety and security is our number one priority at Bolivar Schools. One of our big summer projects is upgrading our school security. During the June school board meeting, funding was approved to upgrade our video surveillance system and the door access system. We are also replacing some of our older exterior doors with stronger doors, hinges, and door frames. We have two full-time school resource officers. One is employed through the Bolivar Police Department, and one is employed by Bolivar Schools. We are also seeking more opportunities to partner with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and the Bolivar Police Department. We appreciate their support in keeping our school buildings safe. If you have any questions about the safety and security of our school buildings, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
REMINDER: Today is the last day of Summer School! #GoLiberators
We have a new billboard! It is located at our HOOPS building next to Bill Grant Ford. The south side of the billboard welcomes visitors to Bolivar by promoting our students, staff, and community! The other side of the billboard recognizes some of our Lifelong Liberators, staff members who graduated from Bolivar Schools and have since returned to serve the next generation of learners!
"Hope is stronger than fear." Bolivar Middle School is supporting 8th grader Mackenzie Galbreath in her fight with cancer. Through several different fundraisers, the school was able to raise $1,500 for Mackenzie's family. #GoLiberators
You will soon be seeing these painted cows all over town! Our BHS FFA students have been working hard on them.
It's National School Librarian Day! We are so thankful for our wonderful librarians and their encouragement to our Liberator readers. #GoLiberators
Congratulations to BMS counselor Kacey Sawyer, who received the Southwest Missouri School Counselor Association "Middle School Counselor of the Year" Award! She does such an amazing job supporting our students, staff, parents, and the entire school community.
