We have chosen Canvas as our learning management system to support teaching and learning for both in-person and online (AIM) students in grades K-12. Using Canvas in both environments gives us the best opportunity to provide the same quality instruction for all students.

Canvas provides a place where teachers can communicate with students and families through features such as announcements to provide regular updates to parents, calendars to highlight upcoming events, and timely, personalized feedback on online assignments.

We encourage all parents to sign up for a Bolivar Schools Canvas account and participate as an Observer in Canvas. Observers can link their Canvas account to their student's account so they can see assignment dues dates, announcements, and other course content.

Parent Accounts & Student Pairing Codes

To sign up for a Canvas parent account, go to Bolivar Schools Canvas. You will be required to enter your name, email address, password, and student pairing code to complete the process. The guides below will step you through the processes of creating an account and generating a student pairing code. Note: Parents will be responsible for creating the student pairing code.

  Canvas Parent App

  The Canvas Parent app is available for Android or iOS devices. Once the app is installed, you will have the option to login to an existing account or create an account. If you’re creating an account you will be required to enter your name, email address, password, and student pairing code to complete the process.

  To create a parent account in the Android or iOS app:

1. Download and install the app

2. Tap Find my school

3. Type Bolivar in the text box

4. Choose Bolivar Schools – Parents

5. Tap Create Account

6. Enter your information and student pairing code

Canvas Student App

The Canvas Student app is available for Android and iOS devices. Students can login to the app using their school-issued Google account credentials.

 Canvas Student app:

1. Download and install the app

2. Tap Find my school

3. Type Bolivar in the text box

4. Choose Bolivar Schools – Students/Teachers

5. Login using the same credentials you use to login to your school-issued Google account
