Bolivar School District is dedicated to meeting the needs of every student, ensuring that “learning for life” is possible for all students, not just for those who excel in a conventional classroom. The Bridges program (formerly known as the Alternative School) is a non-traditional approach to education that strives to make sure all students receive the best education possible. Behavioral concerns, social anxiety, attendance problems, credit deficiencies, or home problems are all possible reasons a student might not excel in a regular classroom, but Bridges endeavors to look beyond the outward day-to-day disruptions to formulate an education plan that works for each student.
